North Lakes School is sited on the west of Penrith in a pleasant suburban setting. The children enjoy extensive playing fields with a trim trail, a wild life area and large playgrounds, both at the front and back of the school. The school is well resourced, especially in technology.
The school was originally built of open plan design, but there has been extensive re-modelling in recent years. There are nine classrooms, including the strategically resourced base.
