Safeguarding & Child Protection

The Overarching Safeguarding Statement sets the context for the work of the school in keeping children safe. It outlines what is meant by safeguarding in the widest sense and sets out the school's expectations and responsibilities in this area of its work which is of paramount importance.

The Child Protection Policy is specifically about the school's work to protect children from harm. It provides definitions for different types of abuse, sets out clear roles and responsibilities for all staff and describes the process of dealing with concerns, disclosures or allegations. It is designed to prevent, protect and support all of the children in our school community.
