A group of Y6 pupils have been to a Gifted and Talented Art session at QEGS each Tuesday Morning. They have been very enthusiastic about this adventure, which involved making 3D insects. The first task was observational drawing of the insect, then the children discussed how to creatively construct it. After this they worked solidly over 5 weekly sessions to construct the 3D creature.
They worked with Art specialists at QEGs and were escorted by Mrs Henderson and Miss Baker. As a result of these great sessions, the exotic, creative creatures will be displayed in School for a month in September. Do come in and have a browse!
