Y5 Mini Police (Autumn 2019)
This half term a fresh group of Year 5 children have joined the Mini Police National Scheme. This is once again run by PCSO Nicholson, this year with the help of Mrs Sewell and Mrs Townend.
So far the children have received their uniforms and have been out onto the street looking at road safety, and traffic control and movement around school. Some of the children had the opportunity to visit Winters’ Park Residential Home to read to their residents, and this was a great success so the children hope to be able to do this again soon.
After Christmas we will be continuing with the scheme covering some new and exciting themes!
