Y5 Explore the Old Testament (June2017)

During this term, Year 5 pupils have been given a wonderful opportunity to explore the Old Testament with guest speakers, Joy and Deborah. Over the course of the five sessions, we have been taken on a historical journey through the lands of Israel, Egypt, Jordan and many more, hearing the fascinating, shocking and sometimes gruesome stories that the Bible has to offer. The sessions, that were provided to the school for free by volunteers, were fun-filled and packed with drama, storytelling and short films in order to engage the children and simplify the complex nature of the Old Testament.
