During the Autumn term, Y3/4 had a Tomb Raiders reading challenge. I read 25 books in total. This term we invited our parents to a special assembly to see us get our certificates. We sang a song for them, Mrs Batley interviewed some children and I stood up and read the blurb of my favourite book. Children who had read 20 books or more were awarded a special bookmark to design themselves. Our parents stayed to look at the book display and enjoy a cup of tea. Our Spring term challenge is still running and it is based on Kilimanjaro.
