The Big Sing Goes West Gallery! (July 13)

During the first week of July, members of NLS choir travelled to The Sage, Gateshead to sing with over 1000 young voices from all over the North East and Cumbria at 'The Big Sing Goes West' We sang lots of songs throughout the afternoon including: Trade Triangle, Sweet Home Alabama, Dollar, Mouse on the Hill and City of Chicago.

The Sage is a big, abstract building and inside is a huge stage where live musicians were singing and playing the accompaniments and backings for our tunes and songs. They were all dressed in cowboy hats! Overall, it was a great day! and we thoroughly enjoyed it - it was the first visit for many of the new choir members and the last choir visit for our Year Six singers! Many thanks to all our helpers who were also singing and dancing in the aisles along side the children.
