This term, Year 3/4 visited Lowther Tale Trails as part of our celebration for World Book Day. Anja visited us in school and shared her story, it was all about a Bat called Pip. It was called Pip the Impossible. When we visited Lowther we re-read the story and visited all of the places in the story as Anja had drawn a map. We had a great time exploring the grounds of the castle, following Pip's route and learning how to be owls and bats (as Pip did). We completed some owl training, hooting, jumping and skipping practice and we made a wish at the special wishing stone. We had a lot of fun and now we are writing our own Tale Trails inspired by Anja and our visit.
