This year we had over 35 children in Years 5 and 6 take part in this national challenge during the week of 13th November 2017. The children had to answer 20 multiple choice questions - most of the questions really challenged the brain! The last five questions needed a little more time and the ability to reason with mathematical thoughts, make connections and go beyond a primary level of thinking was required.
Well done to all who took part. Every mathematician received a certificate grade on his or her final score. 6 Golds, 12 Silvers and over 20 Bronze certificates were awarded. Well done to all who ‘gave it all they’ve got!’ - you have really inspired us all.
