NISCU Y6 Transition Workshops (July 2017)
Ruth Evans, and her colleague Paul Rose, have been working closely with Y6 this term, preparing for the upcoming move to secondary school.
The NISCU team, who have provided fabulous support throughout the year, planned and conducted a series of drama and reflection based activities that encouraged the children to think positively about the move, focusing particularly about being proud of who they are they are and the characteristics that they have.
Ruth and Paul run a lunch club at both UCC and QEGS, which is free to attend by all to chat about worries, the Christian faith or just to visit a friendly face in the first few weeks at a new school!
