On Thursday 24th November, four Year 6 pupils went to Morland Village Hall to take part in a Mathematics competition with schools in the local area. We joined teams with children from other schools to meet new people and see if we could work with others that we didn’t know.
There were four rounds: the long round, the logic round, the cross-number round and the relay round. Each round was 15-45 minutes long and had 15 questions, with every round encouraging us to think in different ways and solve different style problems. Overall, one of the North Lakes teams came in 2nd place, which was great. I think everyone enjoyed it!
