Kabantu (May 2017)

In May, we were delighted to welcome ‘Kabantu’ to North Lakes School.  Kabantu is a quintet from Manchester who unravel new marriages of music from around the globe to celebrate the space where different cultures meet.

 

The whole school were engaged and captivated by the hour-long performance.  Children also demonstrated their musical skill and talent performing alongside Kabantu and a Musical Fruit Salad and journey around the world.  Our special thanks go to The Sunbeams Music Trust for organising this opportunity and Live Music Now!
