GRA Angel Trail & Library Angels (Dec 2021)
Earlier in the term, Claire Dougherty from Penrith Library asked schools to Participate in an ‘Angel’ art project which linked the library to the Angel Trail around Penrith.
Grasmere and the After School Club made some beautiful angels which were delivered by Grasmere - they are already up and they look stunning.
We used different colours, textures and materials. We all enjoyed the crafty afternoons and have supported our locallibrary.
Claire would love to see us all using the library once it is ‘safe’. I know so many of you participated in the Summer Reading
Challenge and love to use the library. It is so welcoming and a card signed by parents will enable you to use their Wifi.
Claire has offered to come into school to work alongside classes and she will definitely be invited in during the Spring Term.
