Cumbria Rural Choirs Concert - Celebrating Peace (Mar 2018)
On Saturday 17th March, members of the choir performed at the ‘Celebrating Peace’ concert at St Andrew’s Church with Cumbria Rural Choirs which commemorated the end of the First World War.
The choir had been busy rehearsing during their lunchtimes for a number of weeks and attended an afternoon rehearsal where they rehearsed with the orchestra, ‘The British Sinfonietta’. The choir performed ‘In Flanders Fields’, by Sharon Durant.
The beautiful orchestral arrangement by Ian Wright (Music Director) complemented the children’s moving performance. Thank you to everyone who supported us!
