Young Writers (Dec 2019)
This term, all of the pupils at NLS got their teeth (and claws!) into poetry writing. The children enjoyed designing their own monster and writing some great poems, which created a buzz around poetry in our school. The poems were entered in to the Young Writers Competition, where editors were wowed by the standard and enjoyed reading them.
Over 115 poems were selected to be published in the Young Writers Poetry Monsters – A collection of Poetry book (due February 2020). Well done to everyone who took part! Remember to return your submission forms as soon as possible.
