Y6 VIP’S @ UCC Prize Day (Oct 2017)
Year 6 children were honoured to be VIPs at this year’s UCC Prize Day. Joining guests of honour Joey Essex, local business men and women, proud parents and staff, the children watched many brothers and sisters, past pupils and friends receive prizes to celebrate their hard work and achievement in school. We were also entertained by show pieces from the UCC Big Band, Drama students, a cabaret performance of ‘All That Jazz’ by the dance students, an amazing performance from the school’s Flying Angel gymnastic team and a grand finale of stunts, jumps and flyers in the school’s national champion cheerleading team. Joey Essex added a little sparkle to the afternoon – it’s not every day a celebrity comes to Penrith!
