Pupils in Year 5 and 6 have been delighted to resume swimming lessons this term. After a two-year break, pupils have been excited to enter the pool each week and improve their skills, increase the distance they can swim and take part in a water safety exercise. Many thanks to all our helpers who have supported us each week. Bracing the elements of the weather and escorting us to and from the pool is greatly appreciated.
The Margaret Wilson Cup - This annual award has been put on hold for the past year due to Covid. Presented annually to the fastest swimmer in Year 6, there is great competition to have your name placed on this trophy and go down in the North Lakes history books. Some of our current parents are named on this trophy! We are delighted to announce this year, it has been awarded to Hannah in Rydal Water who is the fastest swimmer in North Lakes for the Year of 2021-22. Congratulations Hannah!
