Y5 Young Writers (July 2019)
Year 5 have been busy writing again this term and have taken part in another two Young Writers competitions!
From The Incredible Diary Of Terry the Tea Towel to The Incredible Diary Of The Lonely Sock, we are proud to announce that 37 NLS children (out of the 22000 entries across the country) were successfully selected to have their diary entries published in the Young Writers Adventures from the North West book! Well done to everyone who entered.
Another amazing result for Year 5 in the poetry competition. Out of 12000 entries across the country, 45 children in year 5 were selected to have their Once Upon A Dream poems published. Young Writers said, “The standards of entries we have read have been very good and we’re enjoying reading every entry we receive.”
