Y4 pupils enjoyed a great residential to Hawse End this term. All pupils took part in rock climbing, kayaking, ghyll scrambling and problem solving activities. The children learned to develop their 5 R's of resilience. relationship building, risk-taking, being resourceful and reflective in the outdoors.
In the evening by the lake, we wrote some moving diary entries that had the teachers and leaders almost in tears! We also developed our fire-building skills to light small fires together and produced a big camp fire to toast our marshmallows. It was a truly great experience for all pupils and staff. A video clip of this is available on the website.
