UCC Library Opening with Anne Fine (Feb 2022)
This term our Year 5 school councillors were lucky enough to attend the UCC library opening event.
We were invited as part of their re-launch alongside other local schools. The library was reopened by a famous author, Anne Fine, and we listened to her talk about her experience as an author.
Anne Fine spoke about her enjoyment of her job and her advice to the pupils was to find a job that you love and that will bring happiness and success. We bought two of Anne’s new books and they were signed too, look out for them around school. The Year 5’s were fantastic ambassadors for NLS and represented us brilliantly.
