The Wreck of the Titanic (April 2012)
In April, 350 musicians including our choir performed in an outstanding performance of David Bedford's Wreck of the Titanic at Carlisle's Sands Centre. This was an exciting opportunity for our children to work with a professional conductor, full orchestra, actors and other choirs. Our Choir rose to the challenge yet again and our soloists were simply 'First Class'!
Renowned Professional Conductor, Alice Farnham said 'I had the great pleasure of conducting your choir on 16th April in David Bedford's work The Wreck of the Titanic. It was such an exciting concert and you did so much to help make it the success it was. You make a lovely sound - and special congratulations should go to Maddie, Millie, Maisie and Jessica who sang the solo so well'
