The Lakes from above with ClickView (May 22)

In May, some of our Y5&6 took part in a special session with  Mr Soulsby and Tammy from ClickView where they used video as a hook for learning.  In the session they used the BBC’s ‘A Wild Year’ and an episode of ‘Britain from Above’ to generate ideas and  questions about the Lake District and the countryside of Spylark (our class novel).

Afterwards they began to write about a parachute jump above the Lakes and explored exciting sentences, feelings and emotions.  The session was filmed by ClickView who also interviewed Mr Soulsby and Mrs Jenner about using video in the classroom.

Thank you to our ClickView Digital Leaders: Hannah, Jessica, Liam, Oscar, Kitty, Eva, Mario, Millie, Cameron, Fern, Abbie and Katie.
