Talented Writers' Workshop (Summer 2017)
Earlier this term, three talented writers; Joe S, Carrie and Connor G took part in a writing workshop at Austin Friars’ School. The pupils were able to work alongside a real author – Malcolm Judge. They learned about the techniques he uses to write creatively to engage his audience and the process he goes through to write, draft and edit. The pupils had the chance to write their own stories, with the author’s guidance and writing tips. At the end of the day, the pupils were presented with one of his books –signed. It is something they will treasure for a long time.
