On Sunday 15th December, shoppers at Sainsbury's Penrith were serenaded by singers from North Lakes. There weren't actually many choir members available due to prior commitments, but a group of over 30 singers from throughout the school sang their hearts out with a special programme of songs from our Christingle celebration. We were even joined by former choir members who came along and sang with the children!
The national event organised by Sainsbury's 'Christmas Songs in the Community' raised £300 for school funds, a fantastic achievement for two hours work. Special thanks must go to all of our singers, parent helpers, staff and kind supporters.
Well done, everyone!
