RND Singing at Sainsbury's (Mar 13)
North Lakes School Choir have been taking a well earned break this term! Well, when we say a break, what we really mean is that they 
have had less rehearsals! Although we have not had any major events this term, the choir and its new singing leaders have been busy preparing material for National Sing Up Day, Red Nose Day and will soon be preparing for ‘The Big Sing Goes West’ We have been asked once again to record for the National Sing Up Song Bank and we hope that we will be able to do this in the Summer Term.
On Red Nose Day, the choir had pride of place in Sainsbury’s Penrith store, entertaining the Friday Shoppers with a number of roof raising numbers! Although the children were adorned in Red Nose Day Clobber, it was clear that it was North Lakes School performing -well done to everyone and thank you to everyone who came along to support us and donate towards Sainsbury’s Red Nose Day Collection. Thanks also go to Tony Gale & Alison Morton from Sainsbury’s for inviting us and telling everyone on Radio Cumbria all about us!
