It was so good to see parents and children enjoying the Chocolate Bingo that we decided to try something a little different and the Reindeer Drive proved to be a popular proposal!

The children practised in assembly playing ‘Reindeer’ becoming familiar with rules. Then two days prior to the ‘Drive’ class teachers played with their children ensuring that everyone would know what to do on the night! Some enthusiastic ‘Reindeer Drivers’ emerged and were able to lead the way on Thursday Evening with a very exciting event. The children were the Reindeer Drivers keeping their tables on board with the rules. Four games were played and the enthusiasm of participants was so evident. Lots of cheerful chatter could be heard. There was gasps as the dice was thrown and players were desperate for one last number and the last Reindeer body part. 

There was a cash raffle prize of £50 and so many generous prizes donated for our evening. A massive thank you to all children and their families who donated prizes and chocolate. We can say thank you for all the fantastic hampers.

Raffle donations included generous gifts from: The Ice Cream Garden in Penrith; Walby Farm Park; Avon; Tree Top Nets; Mrs Raffel & Sculpt Swim - A swimming lesson; North Lakes Spa - gift voucher; Town Hall Treasures -£20 voucher and gifts

The night was a great success due to time generously given by parents, families and staff. The event raised £702.95
