QEGS Y6 Art Project (Summer 2011)

Each Monday for 6 weeks of this term, fifteen of our Y6’s went to QEGS for an arts project. It involved designing and making clay dragons, and we have loved every bit of it. First we planned how to make the dragon and, once we started making them, it was enormous fun. It took one week of planning, four weeks to actually make, and the other one finishing off. We had to name our dragons and I chose the name Freddy and Connor chose Bocci. The dragons were kept at QEGS to go into the kiln and we will hopefully get them back in September. We can’t wait to see what our dragons look like after they have been fired. We will both have them on display at home.
