Olympic Torch Fun Run (June 2012)
Children got into the Olympic spirit with their own North Lakes mini marathon. 
Ben of Year 4 completed an incredible 35 laps in 50 minutes, a remarkable achievement - but congratulations to all who took part and raised an excellent £450 which is being shared equally between North Lakes School and East Cumbria Family Support, our chosen charity this term.
With generous sponsorship from friends and families, every child took part in a 50 minute fun run, lapping the trim trail as fast as their legs could carry them.
