North Lakes feature at BETT 2017 (Feb 2017)

In January, Mr Soulsby was invited to speak at the BETT Exhibition by Frog Education in London. This was to showcase how  pupils at North Lakes forged links with Ecole Rene Gerard in Northern France and other partners such as Cumbria Museum of Military Life, as part of a the British Council Somme Centenary project last summer.

Mr Soulsby travelled to take part in the event which is the world’s leading education technology event that attracts more than 35,000 visitors from over 138 countries.

During the day, the children’s work on Frog was shared through 3 presentations to visitors at the exhibition as well as being broadcast live on Twitter.  Visitors were very interested to find out about the project and the work which we are doing at school on our Frog site.

Well done to everyone who contributes to Frog – there is some fantastic collaborative work developing which everyone should be very proud of!

If you haven't visited our Frog Site - ask your child to give you a guided tour!
