Intra School Tag Rugby (Oct 2016)
Friday 21st October was the date for this term’s Intra School Tournament and this time our four brave teams took to the pitch to battle it out in a Tag Rugby Festival.
Inspired by some expert coaching from Mrs Ellwood and Mrs Greenwood and with thoughts of Twickenham (or Workington) in their hearts, each of our four teams was represented by squads of ten Y3/4 and Y5/6 pupils.
All the teams played each other and after some exciting matches, nail biting moments, and excellent teamwork, the results are shown below. A grand total of 110 tries were scored in twelve matches, and congratulations are due to Great Gable (Y3/4 winners), and Red Pike 
(Y5/6 winners, and overall school champions once again).
Well done and thank you to all players who took part, and to our staff for their encouragement and support.
