At North Lakes School, we realise the importance of reaching beyond Penrith and Cumbria, and exposing our pupils to the wider world. Our curriculum makes creative use of exploring global issues.
The school has had links for many years with Uru Primary School in Tanzania which we are looking to build again. North Lakes also has a link with a contrasting British city school with a high proportion of ethnic minorities so that our pupils gain a different perspective of school life in England.
These links help us to appreciate similarities and value difference and prepare us to take our place in global society.
