Inclusive Panathlon (Dec 2022)
North Lakes School were delighted to take part in the Eden Valley Panathlon, an inclusive sports afternoon at Penrith Leisure Centre on 23rd November. The children were thrilled to compete in this inclusive event with a friendly competitive edge. Children from schools within the Eden Valley participated.
Our competitors from Years 3 to 6 all received medals, which were proudly received; some children wore their medals for several days!
The games were quite original and inclusive, and enabled everyone to be able to take part. We entered 2 teams and there was a good team spirit in both. Our competitors enjoyed their afternoon - everyone clapped and cheered the winners. It was a great, sporting afternoon: many thanks to Eden Valley Sports Partnership and our helpers on the day
