Hunter Hall Cross County (Feb 2015)

North Lakes took part in the annual Hunter Hall Cross-Country Championship on Wednesday 4th February. Conditions were a vast improvement on the biting wind and rain from last year, with the runners just having to contend with slightly hard ground conditions. This did not deter any of our fantastic runners who gave everything they had to win their races.

When the final points were added up, North Lakes came 2nd in the ‘Visiting Schools’ Championship, which is no mean feat out of 19 schools and over 300 other competitors! The Under 9 boys managed to storm home and picked up second place in their event!

Congratulations go to all competitors. Well done for putting in three training sessions beforehand and even giving up your Saturday morning to attend Penrith Parkrun.

You made us all very proud indeed!
