G&T Y6 Maths Workshops (Spring 2015)
Representatives of all the primary schools in the Penrith area attended five Maths Workshops after school at UCC. Students with an aptitude for Maths were given an opportunity to extend their knowledge at Maths Master Classes. They have been problem solving, applying high level mathematical operations, using algebra and working with different children in a new setting.
The workshops at UCC have been run by Secondary School Maths teachers, and this has given our Year 6’s a challenge, stretching their maths skills and helping them to push themselves. Well done for giving it all you've got!
