Grease at UCC (Jan 2019)
On the 23rd January 2019, Year 5 and 6 went to UCC to watch a preview of the amazing and famous production ‘Grease’. Many past North Lakes School students played the main roles in the production and blew us all away with their talented acting and fabulous singing. Year 5 and 6 laughed, danced and sang along to some of the well known songs especially, ‘Greased Lightning’. Gasps were heard in the audience when two of the main characters rode out onto the stage in a purpose built car (Dodge Wayfarer), which was hidden well in the scenery. The music, acting, scenery and costumes were all outstanding and left our Year 5 and 6 children buzzing with excitement and wanting to watch more!
We were so proud to see so many former NLS pupils performing both on and off stage and taking lead roles! Well done to everyone who played a part in the brilliant production and thank you for inviting us!
