Goodbye and Good Luck Mrs Cousin (Dec 2014)

There will be a change in the school kitchen in 2015 as we say goodbye and good luck to Fiona Cousin, who is leaving her role as Cook to take on a new and worthwhile challenge working with MENCAP in Penrith. We would like to thank Fiona for her real commitment over many years to providing such good meals for the children.

Fiona worked extremely hard to make a success of the revised School Meals service provided by Orian solutions. She is a very good cook and takes a pride in her baking and the quality of the food she serves, as well as caring for the children as individuals. She has overseen the introduction of more home cooked meals, daily freshly cooked bread, the salad bar and she has integrated the online ordering and payment system so that parents have more involvement and children are guaranteed their choice of meal each day. We wish Fiona every success and happiness in her new role. Good luck, Fiona, and thank you from everyone at North Lakes School!
