Five-a-side Fun! (Summer 2012)
Cumbria Police held their annual 5 a side football tournament at Penrith Leisure Centre on Monday 25 June, and North Lakes entered two teams into this tough competition. 
Some of the Year 6 children in our B team had not represented the school before but they showed great determination and resilience and their heads never went down - Morgan was player of the tournament for them. Our A team put in some outstanding performances, to win four out of five matches, scoring 12 goals and drawing only once with Appleby.
Their attitude and effort was excellent. Thanks to Mrs Greenwood and to Mr Parker for leading the teams and coaching them. (And thanks to Mr Ellis and Mr Vickers who had organised the event for the Police!)
North Lakes School were represented by Suzanne, John, Jordan, Bradley, Jamie, Luke E, Myles, Breanne, Erin, Liam S, Morgan and Lewis D. Well done!
