Extreme Reading Challenge (Spring 2015)
Andrea and Jon, the owners of Wordsworth Bookshop, kindly awarded prizes for the best extreme reading for each year group. Each winner chose a book from the Fair. The places that our pupils were reading were very extreme - the mind boggles!
Thanks to everyone who participated in our Extreme Reading Challenge. What adventurous readers we have in our school! Nothing stops our book worms. We had readers in castles, on draw bridges, on the funfair, on mountain tops, on motorbikes, in the bath, upside down.
None of us envied Jon and Andrea - they looked at the entries, looked and looked again and finally made their choice. The winners collected their books on World Book Day. But every extreme reader was a winner, so thanks to all who made our day a great success.
