EVSP Y3&4 Badminton (Oct 2021)
In O
ctober, some Y3&4 children went to Appleby Grammar school to try their hand at badminton. The afternoon was run by ‘Badminton Ben’ a local badminton coach. He taught the children many skills including how to hold the racket correctly, how to serve, haw to have a rally and most importantly how to have fun learning a new sport. All of the children enjoyed this session, playing games against each other and the Year 8 sports leaders too. Ben is running a local badminton club at QEGS – ask at school if you would like more information about this.
