Our first High 5’s competition for a few years happened in September. Some Y5 & 6 went along to represent the school at QEGS; it was very tough but all the children tried their best, playing in every position as well as possible. All seven positions were rotated every half which meant that the children needed to learn quickly, be flexible and resilient in every game. Each team member had their favourite position, from Centre to Goal Defence; they made a brilliant team.
After a shaky start against Skelton, Team NLS pulled together to win their next two games (against Langwathby and St Catherine’s). The results came down to a goal difference and the team should be very proud to come fourth. Well done to our netballers.
