Cumbria County Novice Gymnastic Championships (Apr 2018)
A new venture for North lakes School this year was to participate in this county competition in Carlisle. With strict rules and assessment criteria, five Year 6 pupils passed the standard to gain an entry to this competition.
Once again, our gymnasts worked hard on routines and vaults and performed so well on the day. We were delighted to win a team Silver medal gaining second place overall. A final achievement was for Mason who was awarded a silver individual medal for his outstanding performance on the vault and polished floor routine - a fitting way to end a very successful season of gymnastics at NLS . Watch out for next year’s competitions and get involved!
