Cross Country Championships (Feb 2016)
A beautiful day signalled the arrival of the most gruelling sports event of the year for some lucky North Lakes children - the annual Hunter Hall cross country championships! With a course set out over a hilly 1,800m, it is a tough and demanding event. As always, it was all about resilience, and all four of North Lakes School’s team members had that in bucket loads!
Congratulations to all, and in particular the boys’ U11 team who came in a magnificent 2nd place: Ellis, Thomas, Ben, Jackson and Mackenzie. Well done as well to Katie G who came 3rd in her U9 race with a field of 90!
