Come and Try Badminton (May 2022)
Some children from Year 3 and 4 were lucky enough to attend a ‘Come and Try Badminton’ session at Penrith Leisure Centre earlier this term too. This was a taster session where the children could learn the rules of Badminton and practise some skills with a coach, having a go at a new sport without the pressures of a competition. All of the children who attended put lots of effort into their games and were very good at playing alongside children from other schools. These children were also given certificates for their hard work and sportsmanship.
