Christmas Service (Dec 2022)
This Christmas we celebrated in style with a Christmas Service at St Andrew’s Church. We mixed traditional carols with some modern tunes and lifted the roof at St Andrew’s.
The children worked hard to learn all the words for the songs, poems and prayer readings. Our songs and readings were brought to life with a group of children acting out the nativity scene.
The theme of the service was ‘Follow the Star’: all the children have had the opportunity to make and decorate a 3D star in school, and we all recorded a pledge of something positive we will do in the new year and put this in our star.
Well done to all of our speakers who learned their parts perfectly and all of our choir who sang out so clearly in church. Everyone’s hard work paid off on the day of the service. Thank you to Reverend David Sargent and St Andrew’s for welcoming us. Thanks to everyone who helped to walk the children to and from St Andrew’s church.
