Chetham's School of Music Orchestra Visit (July 2019)
On Friday 5th July children from Y3&4, Grasmere and our children who have instrumental lessons were boarded ‘North Lakes Airlines’ with Chetham’s School Of Music. Fifteen instrumentalists from Manchester’s well-known music school formed an Orchestra and performed many such as the theme form Star Wars, Harry Potter and ET!
This was a great opportunity brought to us by Cumbria Music Education Hub – it’s not every day our school hall is transformed into a concert hall! Thank you to everyone who helped to make the opportunity possible!
