This term Churches Together in Penrith have sponsored bibles which have been gifted to every Year 3 child and Year 6 child. The younger children have a simplified version of The Bible containing lots of pictures as well as the stories and the older children have a Good News Bible. The bibles will be used in school during reading and RE sessions and taken home at the end of Year 5 and Year 6. Many thanks to the local churches for their donations which have allowed us to take part in this project. We hope the children will enjoy reading their bibles as part of their learning.
