BAS Sports Leaders (Nov 21)
Bassenthwaite students were asked to help out at the KS1 sports festival. Ten schools from the Eden Valley brought young children to take part in a round robin of active events. From shuttle runs to penalty shootouts, hurdles to throwing balls at a target, Penrith Leisure Centre was a hive of activity.
Our sports leaders were outstanding, organising teams, demonstrating skills, encouraging and supporting the little ones were just some of the skills our pupils displayed.
Mrs Greenwood was so proud of Bassenthwaite, and received so many positive comments praising the young leaders from our school - you were top ambassadors for our school that day, lots of you have potential and did yourselves proud at this event.
