Akrowa UK Music Visit (Oct 2018)
In October, Years 3 – 5 were lucky to take part in an exciting workshop by Akrowa UK.
The group were brought to North Lakes by Sunbeams Music Trust and sharing their amazing, traditional, Ghanaian music and dance! Their vibrancy and energy filled the hall and our children quickly picked up their rhythms and melodies. Before long children were dancing singing and playing along. At one 
point all of the teachers and teaching assistants were playing djembe drums whilst the children cheered and clapped along.
