After School Clubs @ NLS (Dec 2017)
Once again, we have been very active at North Lakes School with over 80 pupils participating in an active after school club. We try to offer a range of different sports each term. This term we have been able to offer – Tag Rugby, Football coaching, Netball (High 5) and Multi Skills. Mrs Ellwood our school sports coach offers a number of these clubs and is always quick to complement our young sports people at NLS. Here is what we thought about some of these clubs:
“Lauren makes the netball sessions fun and enjoyable, I can now shoot and score a goal as well as attack and defend the ball.“
“Training with Matt from the FA was a great experience, I realised I could play football!”
“I have really improved my skills in football. Working alongside the Carlisle Utd coaches has been a great opportunity for me. The sessions are fun and enjoyable. I love assisting with goals as well as scoring them”
