At the end of the year we have lots of children who have completed this amazing challenge. Collecting miles stones along the way is a real incentive to be resilient and keep going. Certificates are received at 10, 25, 50 and 75 miles before the final award of the 100 mile certificate.
During the school day children are encouraged to run/walk/skip, scoot a mile – just over six and a half laps of the trim trail. Occasionally, teachers stop lessons and classes head out to complete a mile. We find this can energise children’s minds in the classroom and make them better learners too – a win, win situation. Keep going over the summer, remember to record your efforts and log your mile stones on the Frog as this generates your certificate. Let’s see if we can get even more names on the achievement wall by September!
